About time I stop lurking in the background and actually put something up here... Latest dev took a bit of work.  Basically it was a photo that I wanted to post, but there was too much wrong with it... I.E. my big fat head leaking into the upper right corner of the picture when I took it, since I had to do it blind with the camera laying on the gound.  In comes a new tool for me (GIMP it  rox for free!) and figguring it all out.  End result is the shot that I wanted.  thought I did a pretty good job removing my errorant self from the picture...  Had fun playing with the layers and transparency options and some new fonts that I got.  I think t

Well, another year - - Things are still up in the air.. Don't know whats gonna happen next week... I've lived this way a bit too long for my own comfort... I suspect there will be some changes coming soon.   What they will be, I 'm not sure. As for my stuff on here, I guess i'm focusing more on just catching good shots, Vs trying to find unusual structures to take pictures of..  I'm not inclined to change that mode at the moment, not to mention the lack of having found any other interesting structures to take pictures of.  But I guess we'll see what happens. I've been having some fun taking pictures of things that I normally would not bother with.  Think the results came out pretty good...  I was going to submit one of these into the winterdream contest, but  I got lazy..  oh well... I'm in the middle of moving stuff again, and the sky has been a mess, so I've not been able to snap pictures lately..   Hopefully soon.
